Yacht Manoeuvring Course

We are now offering a one day practical boat handling & yacht maneuvering course in Port Hamble Marina. Absolutley no previous helming experience needed.
The course is open to all levels, from novice to advanced sailors that want to broaden their practical experience and knowledge of manoeuvring within marinas.

                                                                                         

 Course covers:-
 
  • Theory effects of tide and wind. 
  • Berthing bows to, alongside.
  • Berthing stern to, alongside.
  • Alongside, springing off fore and aft.
  • Prop walk and prop wash.
  • Close quarter manoeuvring.
  • Short handed berthing alongside
  


 
Yacht Manoeuvring Courses are available through out the year, keep checking from new dates.

Single day courses are being run on the following dates:-

  • Saturday 19th May
  • Sunday 20th May 2012
  • Sunday 17th June

All above courses £179.00 per person (Max 4 per boat)

Course duration from 09:00 to 17:00

Cost is based on 4 students/individual places per yacht.  
Your course is run on an Oceanis 37 with commercially endorsed instructor.
