With over 500 lawyers, more than 50-yachts and with almost every top law firm in the UK participating, the Manches Cup is the main social and sporting event for the legal community and is one of the largest sailing events in the yachting calender.

After proving to be hugely successful with suppliers and customers last year, another fleet of 15 boats is preparing to take to the Solent for the third ‘BSS Industrial Challenge Cup' on the 14th June 2012 to 16th June 2012
The BSS Industrial sailing regatta is a three day event which celebrates the strong relationships between all parties and gives everyone the chance to renew business relationships, with some competitive sailing added for good measure. With big names on board, 2012 promises to see an even closer fight to the finish line.
Food and Farming Regatta

The date for the Food & Farming Industry Charity Regatta has been announced. All proceeds from the event go to the Demelza House Children's Hospice.
The evening before the race, (19th) which is held at Port Hamble Marina, there's a Gala Dinner at the The Royal Southern Yacht Club.
All crews compete for the Food & Farming Charity Regatta Cup. Those wishing to skipper yachts themselves can compete for the coveted Gentleman's Cup as well.
For 2012 will have matched Beneteau Oceanis 37s, all with asymmetric spinnakers!!
As usual professional skippers are available all with Yachtmasters (with Commercial Endorsement) and chosen for their expertise, passion for sailing and quite often their sense of humour!

With over 1,800 yachts competing (that's more than 11,000 sailors), this annual one day race is the yachting world's equivalent of the London Marathon. First raced in 1931, yachts still compete for the Gold Roman Bowl, the legendary trophy presented by the race's founder Cyril Windeler. Little did he realise what he was starting and today, a huge variety of yachts take part, from maxi-sleds and high performance mulithulls to small coastal cruisers and sedate old timers. The Round the Island Race is a multitude of races within a race!

1826 Cowes Week has played a key part in the British sporting summer calendar and is one of the UK's longest running and most successful sporting events. It now stages up to 40 daily races for over 1,000 boats and is the largest sailing regatta of its kind in the world.

The Little Britain Challenge Cup is a sailing regatta for the construction industry. Since the first event in 1988 the Little Britain Challenge Cup has grown from 3 to 250 entries and to include more than 3000 competitors, making it the biggest regatta in the UK after Cowes Week.
LBCC continues to attract more and more new companies to join the regulars that have been taking part in the event. All available berthing in Cowes Yacht Haven, Shepards Wharf Marina in West Cowes, and Venture Quays in East Cowes, is taken to accommodate the boats, and there's an action-packed social programme to complement the racing.
